Androvacuum Electric Penis Pump Review

This review is based on me personally testing the Androvacuum electric penis pump.

I found Androvacuum to be of high quality and very easy to use. I can see it benefit many men with Peyronie's disease, especially those suffering from low quality erection or erectile dysfunction.

Androvacuum penis pump

Penis vacuum pumps are made to treat erectile dysfunction, i.e. for men that cannot achieve erection, or have problem maintaining it.

They can also be used to improve erection quality (sexual fitness). Men with low quality erectile function can improve their erections over time by using penile pump like Androvacuum.

Using penis vacuum pump 5 to 7 times a week can help to maintain penile length, dilate arteries, and oxygenate penile tissues. This can prevent / reduce the risk of erectile dysfunction.

Good quality erections are important for all men. For men with Peyronie's disease they are vital. Having sex with inadequate erection increases the risk of the penis buckling, which can make the Peyronie's condition worse.

This Androvacuum penis pump review contains the following sections:

The Pros and Cons of Using Penile Pumps To Treat Peyronie's

I have already explored thoroughly the benefits and downsides of using Penis Vacuum Pump to treat men with Peyronie's disease. I recommend reading it first, if you have not already done so.

It is important to be aware of the potential risk involved. Using penis pump may aggravate the Peyronie's conditions in some men with the disease. For example, it is not suitable for men with severe curvature.

Peyronie's patients with erection problems can however benefit greatly from using vacuum erection device (VED). You donĀ“t have to read for long in any Peyronie's forum to find men very satisfied with their experience of electric penis pumps.

Various scientific studies confirm that vacuum therapy is safe and very effective treatment to solve erectile dysfunction (ED). Medical penis pumps have been proven to be over 90% effective for men with erectile dysfunction.

However, when using vacuum penis pump to treat Peyronie's disease it is important to use “specially-designed devices which are carefully constructed so that a limited amount of pressure is allowed to develop(Department of Urology at Weill Cornell Medical College Opens in new window symbol)

This is very important in order to reduce the likelihood of pressure induced penis injury (i.e. not to make your Peyronie's condition worse). It is therefore imperative that the pressure applied does not exceed 200-250 mmHg.

Androvacuum is designed to create limited and controlled amount of pressure, or approximately 200-250 mmHg. This reduces the risk of pressure induced penis injury and makes Androvacuum an excellent choice for men with Peyronie's disease.

How Does The Androvacuum Electric Penis Pump Work?

I found it very easy to use the Androvacuum penile pump.

Androvacuum comes with detailed instruction brochure. The photo shows the components included in the package.

Androvacuum penis pump

Please Note: As of 2015 Androvacuum only ships with one Cushioning Ring.

If you are using Androvacuum to get an erection, or as sexual fitness therapy, then it couldn't be easier to use. Just attach the electronic vacuum motor to the wider end of the removable cylinder and the cushion ring(s) to the other end. You do not need the erection assistant rings or the easy loading conical system in those cases.

Batteries for the motor are included in some countries, but the electric penis pump motor requires three AA batteries.

Use the lubrication gel to lubricate the penis, pubic hair area and inside the cylinder. This helps to form good vacuum seal to the body and prevents the penis from sticking to the walls of the cylinder. Then insert the penis into the cylinder and start the vacuum process.

If the purpose is to achieve erection for sexual intercourse, then you just release the vacuum when you have reached a full erection.

If you are using the electric penis pump to improve your sexual fitness, then you must follow the instructions carefully. They explain how to use the device safely for maximum results.

Using Androvacuum 5 to 7 times a week can promote full erectile function. It may help to maintain penile length, dilate arteries, and oxygenate penile tissues. The aim should be to produce 5 erections, or use the penile pump for at least 5-10 minutes, during each session.

Tightness and some pressure are normal and expected but you should never operate the pump to the point of causing pain. If you feel discomfort, then you are likely pumping too much or too quickly. Just press the manual vacuum release button and wait a moment before starting the process again.

When I tested the Androvacuum for the first time, I did overdo it a little bit (I was reading the instructions as I was going along, recommend reading them in advance!). I did feel little sore (tingling sensation) the following day. I rested one day and then tried again (following the instructions) and was fine afterwards.

If you are using the Androvacuum to help you to maintain an erection, then you need to add the erection assistant ring into the process.

Androvacuum penile pump

Start by attaching the easy loading conical system to the cylinder. Then slide the right size of erection assistant ring over the cone and onto the end of the cylinder. This does take some effort. I found it helpful to lubricate the cone to make this easier to do.

You then use the pump as before. Once erection has been achieved, you slide the erection assistant ring onto the base of the penis. This will help you to maintain the erection.

Caution though, the erection assistant ring should never be worn for more than 30 minutes.

You do feel pressure when wearing the erection assistant ring. I must admit I found it rather uncomfortable but expect you get used to it (and worth it if this is the only way to maintain an erection).

I did not try to have sexual intercourse with the ring. They say the pressure of the erection assistant ring may interfere with the ejaculation process. This is though not harmful. Nor does it affect the climax.

The instruction manual goes through all of this step-by-step and in great detail. It explains how each component works, how to select the right components for your penis size, how to set the device, as well as detailed guide how to use the system, whether as erectile dysfunction or sexual fitness therapy.

It also goes through the most common problems that can arise, the likely cause, and the solution to the problem.

My Opinion Of Androvacuum

I found Androvacuum to be a good quality device, easy to operate, and work exactly as I expected.

I personally don't like taking any medication unless I absolutely have to and then for as short period as possible. I would therefore prefer to use vacuum pump rather than PDE-5 inhibitors (Viagra, Cialis, Levitra) to help me achieve and maintain an erection. Furthermore, the pills don't address the problem, while the electric penis pump may improve the erection quality over time.

To summarize, the key benefits of Androvacuum as I see them:

  • Very easy to use
  • High quality equipment, all components look sturdy and made to last
  • Controlled amount of pressure, within the recommended level of 200-250 mmHg
  • Preferable over medication (personal opinion)
  • Last but not least, does exactly what is says, i.e. gives erection on demand and can help men to maintain erection, as well as improve erection quality over time

I can therefore see great benefits of using Androvacuum in the following circumstances:

  • Men that have problem achieving erections
  • Men that have problem maintaining erections
  • Men that want to improve their erection quality

This is because penis vacuum pumps have been shown to be up to 90% effective in producing erection, regardless of the cause of ED.

What About Men With Peyronie's Disease?

Erectile problems are common among men with Peyronie's disease, and those Peyronie's patients can benefit from using Androvacuum penis pump.

Erectile dysfunction (ED) affects 5% of men in their forties and 15-25% of men by the age of 65. Even more importantly, 50% of men in their forties may experience transient ED or inadequate erection.

This is important, as trying to have sex with inadequately firm erection, can cause penile injury (which can result in Peyronie's disease), or aggravate the condition if you already got Peyronie's.

Using electric penis pump not only helps men to achieve and maintain erection. It helps men to achieve and maintain firm erection and therefore reduces the risk of aggravating their Peyronie's condition.

Some men have used penile pumps in order to improve on penile curvature. I have some reservations about this. The cylinder is only 2 inches (5 cm) in diameter and therefore not suitable for men with more than mild penile curvature.

Therefore, if you have penile curvature and don't suffer from erectile problems, then I would rather go for Andropeyronie or Phallosan. Traction devices have been shown to be more effective than penis pumps in correcting penile curvature.

If you have penis curvature and suffer from erectile problems, then you should talk to your doctor prior to starting vacuum therapy.

If you have mild curvature and erectile problems, then you may be able to use the pump to help you with both. If your curvature is more severe, then you may need to address the curvature first (e.g. with traction therapy), before addressing the erectile problem.

However, if you only suffer from erectile problems, then Androvacuum could be the right device for you.

This penis pump review concludes that Androvacuum is a good electric penis pump for men with erectile problems because...

It is medically approved top quality VED, made by reputable manufacturer, easy and convenient to use, scientific studies support its effectiveness for men with erectile dysfunction and for some Peyronie's patients, the price is very competitive, and finally yet importantly, the pressure is within the acceptable safety limits, which significantly reduces the likelihood of any pressure induced penis injury.
