Two Weeks of Penis Enlargement Device Thoughts

I bought the Male Edge device and, as per my custom, I tried it out after watching their instructional video.

Male Edge penis traction device

It really didn't make complete sense to me as I think these devices have a distinct learning curve.  After a couple weeks of trying to wear the Male Edge I had a lot of trouble getting the thing comfortable and staying in place...  Then I re-watched the video and re-read the My Peyronie's website on wearing these devices.  Soooo.  It made a lot more sense how to adjust the contraption and I was able to absorb more of the finer points of wearing and using the penile enlargement device.

Thoughts:

Perhaps I am high maintenance but these things are tricky to wear and sometimes painful and you really need to just try several different techniques to see what works best for you.

-The Male Edge device pinches around the shaft when the belt is around the penis so I use a soft foam collar they provided to protect my skin which helps.

- Parts of the hard plastic of the device rubs my leg and pulls on hairs/pinches me.  So, after application of the device I wrapped irritating parts with Coban wrap tape which they provided. That helped significantly but the tape then rubbed my leg where it scraped against me. I am a physician and stand and sit all day in clinic. So, after placing some Coban I then wrapped the whole thing in soft stretch rap Curad Gauze and taped it over everything.  That did the trick though there is a lot to unwrap when you need to use the bathroom.

- I tried briefs both tight and loose ("Whitey Tighties") and they did keep things stable but when I sat, my slacks pushed the device against my pelvis and hurt.  So now I just wear boxers and move the devise to the right side/leg and this works well. My penis curves to the left at the base and so I am hoping this will help, over time, to curve it back towards the midline.  This last technique has helped in my particular circumstance very well and now I am relatively comfortable.

I have now been successfully wearing the Male Edge for two weeks.  No results yet except that my flaccid length is already about 1/2 to 1 inch longer.  This is a very strange thing too. Actually it takes some getting used to as your penis looks longer than usual and there is more to position even when your device is not being worn.  Some of you might be wondering why I might "complain" about having a longer penis but it actually does change things and that takes some getting used to mentally and physically.

When time permits I will continue to share my thoughts.  I hope this is helpful to others on the site.

Thank you for sharing your experience of using traction device with My Peyronie’s readers. I’m sure many will find it helpful to follow your journey.

It is great that you are now able to successfully wear the device for the prolonged period required. It can take men little while to get used to putting the device on and wearing it. For most it takes a little practice, and little trial and error to find out what works best for them. I’m very glad that you are now over this initial hurdle. Now it is about persisting and wearing the device every day for as many hours as possible and hopefully it will all be worth it in the end.

I’m sure I’m not alone in looking forward to hearing back from you. In the meantime, keep up the good work and all the best.

Kind regards,

Birgir

Hi,
I have the Male Edge and it does irritate significantly if it is not covered by something.  I wear semi tight athletic wicking boxers (from REI sporting goods) and position my penis to the right side to help with the left curvature.

To protect myself from scraping I simply apply a soft cotton athletic sock that is very short sock and is designed to barely come up over the ankle to the top of a tennis shoe opening.  It has some elastic at the opening of the sock. I place it over my penis with the Male Edge in place and pull it up until it totally covers the entire device and the opening of the soft elastic sock top fits snugly around the penis entry ring which holds it in place. It is soft and makes it more (but not totally) comfortable. No tape, no Coban, no gause - just a short soft sock with elastic at the top.

I hope that helps some of you.
